 Tarot: Archetypes of higher states of consciousness

The Tarot works through the visual faculty by impressing subconsciousness with patterns of higher consciousness . These higher states of consciousness are the ones which the incarnate and dis-incarnate masters of wisdom all posses, and by meditating daily on the Tarot one gradually attunes one's consciousness to those of the Masters on the Inner and Outer Planes. Tarot-work is cumulative; it most often does not work drastically in the beginning, but with repeated work it has it's effects very deep down in subconsciousness. According to Ageless Wisdom the old debate whether the soul is totally different from it's body(the dualist- the common hindu belief ) or the same( the materialist AND the common Christian view) are solved in a higher synthesis in that both views are partially true and compliment each other.

According to Ageless Wisdom the soul is eternal and has chosen of it's own free accord to develop from it's undifferated blissfull state of "Nirvana" or "Heaven"(hence the "Fall") into a fully individualized conscious center and embodiment of all the universal powers - a fully self-conscious vehicle for the Lord of Life. This development can ONLY be effectuated through physical incarnation. In between incarnations the soul rests in blissful states(unless it has created an astral hell for itself through immature thoughts and actions).

Hence both the the above cited views share in the truth: We are eternal self-conscious centers and do not die with the body; on the other hand during physical incarnation we are as one with the body, and so consciousness and the body are very closely interrelated. The taking of psychedelic drugs as shown in the groundbreaking works of the Czech psychiatrist Stanislav Grof CAN induce temporary states of expanded consciousness very similar to the ones induced by years of dedication to the techniques of Ageless Wisdom; however the same drugs can cause irreparable damages to the braincells and fine etheric body, so it is of course not possible "to take Heaven by force" and it never will be. Patience and consistent works is what is required. Today Stanislav Grof works with Holotropic Breathing which is a non-drug technique which can produce all the effects of LSD-therapy , but without the dangers of associated with LSD.

So through the continued dedication to transform oneself through the techniques of Tarot meditation, working on the Tree of Life (which includes meditation on the Tarot cards, as the Tree and the Tarot is intensely related) , and magical techniques, it is possible to get very far on the path during this lifetime.

According to Ageless Wisdom all will at last achieve the state of the perfected man or woman; however almost incomprehensible periods of time will lapse before the natural process of evolution produces this.

The techniques of the Ageless Wisdom speeds up this process immensely, so that one will reach that state much sooner, and so one can be of help to one's fellow beings.

The teachings of Ageless Wisdom do not go against scientific discoveries. The concept of the evolution of form through genetic transmutations is enlarged upon with the concept of the evolution of consciousness through subsequent more refined forms. So according to Ageless Wisdom we must really learn to appreciate the miracle this human form and this human consciousness is! We may forget it when we grow older, but the child is aware of the miracles which all surrounds us.
